Digging Çatalhöyük – experiences of excavating at the World Heritage site
Publicerad den 10 maj 2016
At Çatalhöyük in Turkey, remains of a densely packed Neolithic settlement dating back 9000 years have been found. Since 1993, the Çatalhöyük Research Project has been carrying out archaeological investigations with the help of an international research team. On May 19 we will hold a half-day seminar in which colleagues and students from Lund University and Sydsvensk Arkeologi AB will talk about their experiences and discuss their results. The seminar begins at 1:15 pm in LUX B237, Helgonavägen 3. See the calendar/kalendarium for further details.
